For a relaxing holiday centred around the beach, the Dolunay Apartments are tough to beat. The sands are just across the road, plus you're within walking distance of Altinkum. There's a pool, bar and patisserie on-site, too.
The Dolunay Apartments are in a great location – they’re right across the road from a sandy beach. Plus, they’re on the outskirts of Altinkum, so you can walk into the village in about ten minutes. Ephesus is also an easy daytrip – it’s about an hour’s drive away.
The apartments themselves are in two-storey buildings set in landscaped gardens. They come with basics like cooking rings and a fridge, and linen’s supplied, too. Some apartments even have sea-view balconies.
Outside, there’s a grand, rectangular pool with a children’s paddling area alongside it. There’s a snack bar out here, too, and even a patisserie.
On the subject of food, the hotel lays on a free bus to the Dolunay restaurant. It’s in Altinkum, and as a guest at the apartments you’ll get a discount. As for after-dinner entertainment, there’s a nightclub across the road from the apartments and an open-air disco about a two-minute walk away.
Enjoy breakfast in the mornings and light bites and snacks - such as crisps, ice-cream and drinks, all day long at the pool bar. Occasionally through the week there are themed evenings, where you'll be able to enjoy barbecue and local nights.
These simply furnished 1-bedroom apartments with a sea view make a good holiday base for up to three. They come with a twin bedroom and a sofa-bed in the lounge area. There's air-conditioning in the main bedroom at a charge, daily maid service and linen and towel changes twice a week.
These simply furnished 2-bedroom apartments make a good holiday base for up to five. They come with a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a single sofa-bed in the lounge area. There's daily maid service and linen and towel changes twice a week.
Clean and tidy throughout the apartment and complex. Very friendly staff. Rooms were basic but lovely. Food was really good. Ate here most nights and during the day. Quiz's during the day was good with the winners getting someone from the pool bar.
Will go back again!

Excellent choice for good value beach holiday
Wendy and I stayed here for a week in September 2014, the weather was perfect (30 degrees and sunshine all week) and everywhere wasn't too busy.
The first floor apartment was great, simple and clean, no frills but with the all-important balcony overlooking the pool.
The swimming pool at the Dolunay is possibly the biggest in town, and along with everything else was kept spotlessly clean by the attentive staff.
The Dolunay is also in a perfect location, being just across the road from the beach, and the bars/restaurants/nightlife far enough away to the left and right not to bother you.
HOWEVER, although it was only open for 2 nights when were there, the nightclub along and across the road is noisy till the early hours, so we would recommend some cotton wool for your ears if you wish to sleep!
That aside, we definitely recommend stopping here, we'll certainly consider it again!More

Excellent Apartment with a sea view
Stayed at these apartments first week in October 2014, we had a two bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean, they were cleaned everyday. The hosts were excellent really went out of their way to help you and made you feel welcome, the pool was clean and plenty of sunbeds at this time of year. Our apartment was on the top level and with a fantastic sea view and pleasent to sit on the balcony and just stare out to the sea when relaxing.
We did have a meal at the bar, and can say it was filling and tasty, and was reasonable priced. Location is spot on, walking distance to both beaches and buses are frequent outside of the apartments.
Only one minor complaint that they should address is have a tea towel in each apartment, because they do provide clean shower towels so could supply a small tea towel. That is the only thing that we thought could be addressed in the future. Also you will get dogs barking throughout the night but close the windows and did not disturb our sleep, just nothing that can be done about the dogs but certainly did not stop us enjoying out stay at the Dolunay apartments.
When we arrived there was a welcome pack of tea, milk and bread which I thought was a fantastic and well received after a long journey. Will certainly come back to the Dolunay apartment on our next visit to Turkey, it was such a pleasent experience and that was down to the bar staff, cleaner and a special mention to the Thomsons rep who took the time to come and speak to you and gave us ideas on where to go on a night.
Would recomend Dolunay apartment to anyone, and look forward to returning in the future, and value for money was spot on for what I believe are top class apartment. Well done for making our stay so enjoyable.More

Stayed here for 2 weeks in October, for the first couple of nights the nightclub was still open but we were in one of the furthest apartments away and we couldn't hear anything .The apartments are large with a huge fridge the usual 2 cooking rings and a kettle. The pool is large with plenty of sun beds ,it costs an extra 3.5 TL for a mattress .There is free wi fi at the pool area.
It's a short walk to the beaches and the centre for shops and restaurants.
The local dolmus stops outside runs every 15 mins and costs 2tl,the market in Didim is on Saturdays.More
