For a relaxing holiday centred around the beach, the Dolunay Apartments are tough to beat. The sands are just across the road, plus you're within walking distance of Altinkum. There's a pool, bar and patisserie on-site, too.
The Dolunay Apartments are in a great location – they’re right across the road from a sandy beach. Plus, they’re on the outskirts of Altinkum, so you can walk into the village in about ten minutes. Ephesus is also an easy daytrip – it’s about an hour’s drive away.
The apartments themselves are in two-storey buildings set in landscaped gardens. They come with basics like cooking rings and a fridge, and linen’s supplied, too. Some apartments even have sea-view balconies.
Outside, there’s a grand, rectangular pool with a children’s paddling area alongside it. There’s a snack bar out here, too, and even a patisserie.
On the subject of food, the hotel lays on a free bus to the Dolunay restaurant. It’s in Altinkum, and as a guest at the apartments you’ll get a discount. As for after-dinner entertainment, there’s a nightclub across the road from the apartments and an open-air disco about a two-minute walk away.
Enjoy breakfast in the mornings and light bites and snacks - such as crisps, ice-creams and drinks, all day long. Occasionally through the week there are themed evenings, where you'll be able to enjoy barbecue and local nights.
1-bedroom apartment with sea view sleeps up to 3, with a twin bedroom, single sofa-bed in the lounge area, air-conditioning in the main bedroom at a charge, daily maid service and linen and towels changed twice a week.
Just returned back from the Dolunay again. We keep going back to these apartments purely based on the location and staff (especially Josh). Had a few problems with our room (apartment 1) on this occasion. We do normally have this room but this time we seemed to encounter problems with the bathroom. This resulted in the shower flooding, the toilet not working and problems with sewerage coming in through the small drain. The staff did try to rectify this and I understand this is going to be looked at properly as may be a council matter (sorting the main drain outside). Despite this problem we still had an enjoyable time and would probably stay here again. Cant fault Josh in the coffee shop, by far the best staff member here.
Internet wasn't great on this occasion and people were always struggling to connect the free wifi in the bar area. Was very busy there this year, lots of people coming in from outside to use the pool .More

Fantastic family holiday
Have just returned after spending 11 nights at Dolunay apartments. First family holiday abroad and went with family who were returning for the 3rd year running. Could not fault out stay at Dolunay. Staff were wonderful, so helpful and friendly, they made you feel so welcome. Big mention to Josh at the shop, and Sam and YahYah at the bar. Amazing guys!!
Apartments were everything you need for a self catering holiday, comfortable and practical.
Pool is fab, and the food and drinks at the cafe/bar was lovely.
Location wise, it's so close to the restaurants, bars and so many shops to visit! Aldo the beach is over the road!!
Couldn't have wished for a nicer family holiday!
Will definitely go back!! More
Dolunay Nightclub I mean apartments
First of all the location was fabulous close to beach, shops, restaurants and main street , pool was excellent and very clean. The actual apartment was good and clean but the kitchen definitely needs a few more things such as a toaster. Staff were friendly and polite etc. Now for the downside ….. we asked for a quiet location , we got room 1, a few 100 metres from the nightclub , yep every night till 5am i was in a bedroom which was more like a club!!! The travel agent obviously knew this was near a nightclub but only mentioned it was very close to it and not literally on the door step, so if u go take ear plugs and be prepared for the noise. Beach was not so clean , I don't like sitting in cigarette butts, plastic bottles and coke cans so we avoided after visiting it for 15 minutes. Would i visit Altinkum again and the Dolunay apartments …maybe if I was guaranteed a quite location or if I stayed in a hotel with a bit more distance from the very noisy nightclub. Free wifi in bar was a bit hit and miss , don't have the burgers it was more like very large bun with a very small burger inside. Not so keen on the deposit boxes where they're situated in an office with an open door, next to the bar and pool with no one in there 24 hours a day like most hotels and apartments I felt uneasy due to passports and money locked away. You also have to pay for A/C and Ive never had to do that in any country I have visited . A week in my opinion is enough I doubt I could handle more than that. We were told we couldn't keep the room for a few hours longer ( my son wasn't very well i would've appreciated in having our room a little longer) as the next set of holiday makers were moving in at 1pm , funny we were out of room for 12, sat and waited for transfers to airport for 2.5 hours and not once did any new holiday makers turn up!!! So no i won't be going back, as I much preferred Hisaronu near Fethiye to Altinkum.More

" feels like home "
My third time staying at the dolunay i even dragged my brother and his lovely family along this year i love staying there and made to feel welcome by the lovely Josh in the shop, Sam & yah yah and even the two friendly cleaners, the pool is the best one that I've seen in the area maybe that's why others from different apartments venture in, I dont mind the music from the night club across the road sitting on your balcony with a glass of wine I'm on HOLIDAY that's what its all about, however if you have young children id advise close the widows and put air con on you can't here it as much, the apartments are clean and tidy everything you need is there, the beach 2 minutes away what more could you ask for theres plenty of lovely restaurants to eat out at ( my Eden) ...... Back to lookin for next year..........More
