Enjoy breakfast in the mornings and light bites and snacks - such as crisps, ice-cream and drinks, all day long at the pool bar. Occasionally through the week there are themed evenings, where you'll be able to enjoy barbecue and local nights.
Great holiday with fantastic staff, Rooms are basic but cleaned everday and bedding changed every 2/3 days, Meals are good and reasonably priced, the pool is amazing and spotlessly clean, Must be one of the best views in Altinkum, Fortunately no issues with the night clubs over the road but could see how it may be disturbing to some. James is a great rep, The beaches are amazing, get the number 4 dolmus to the little beach by the Venosa hotel for a special treat. loved Didum will return soonMore
We have just stayed at the Dolunay for 10 days and got a Bargain deal made all the better by the fantastic staff at the apartments- Sammy and Ya Ya ( Not correct name but I cant pronounce it) and the ladies that run the hotel and cleaning staff - There is nothing they wont do to assist you and ensure you are well looked after. Yes a toaster would be nice however you can eat a Full English breakfast at the apartments for £3.00 their menu is very reasonable and great quality of food.
Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard.
The local area is ideal for all ages with plenty to do. We did 5 trips in 10 days using the Vista travel agency just to the left of the apartments on most occasions half the price of the same Thomson trip. Hair dressers and beauty shop Medusas fab I had full pedicure - manicure and eye brow threading for only £13.25 and I was in there over 2 hours being fully looked after ( I'm not usually into to this but I had a treat and loved it )
You can eat very cheaply in Altinkum and to a great standard the restaurants are all friendly and great food. You must visit Charlie's on the beach to the left and IQballs and Pinocchio to the right on the beach front but all restaurants are fab we ate out every night and were still cheaper than an all inclusive which we usually go for.
I highly recommend the lazy boat and the Ephesus trips must do in Altinkum.
Tip - Apartments could offer a hamper basket on booking so you have basics in room on arrival - especially for late arrival - there was a loaf and small bottle of water and 2 tea bags left for us which was a nice touch.
Thank you to all the staff at the Dolunay for looking after us so well and the laughs we had were fab made all the better by meeting nice up beat people.

You get what you pay for!
Me, my husband and 14 year old daughter stayed for a week in October at these apartments. The apartment itself was very dated and unclean, as you can see from the pictures, it's only a 2 star and it's obvious why. Dirty shower and taps, curtains hanging off, musty kitchen cupboards, I had to wash all plates (plastic!)and cutlery before we used it, we found a woman's top under the sofa so clearly it had not been cleaned under there. The pool area was okay until the music started blarring out or the football commentary started . And we didn't agree with having to pay extra for cushion for the sun loungers. The WiFi wasn't good either. The staff were nice including the cleaners. We didn't like it when 2 days before we left the cleaners left an envelope in the kitchen asking for a tip, I do normally leave a tip for cleaners but didn't on this occasion as I feel it wasn't deserved, they never brushed or mopped the floors for the whole week. It was a cheap week away and we knew it wasn't going to be luxury but cleanliness costs nothing, it should come as standard no matter how many stars a hotel has. We wouldn't go back and we wouldn't recommended to anyone .More
Lovely apartments, and very good value
Just returned from 2 weeks here. October and the temperatures were still in the mid 20's. There are about 20 apartments, with a lovely pool and Cafe/Bar.
All the staff were very friendly, especially Sammy and Ya Ya.
Apartments were clean and spacious.
The Apollo Temple is well worth a visit, just take the number 4 bus from outside the apartment, only 2 lira per person each way (50p). Just ask to be dropped off at Apollo. We went about 9.30 am, and had the whole place to ourselves. Just 10 lira entry fee, well worth it.
Thank you once again to all the staff for a lovely holiday xxMore
Had great 2 weeks here, basic but clean apartments, fantastic pool, lovely people, night club is close but didn't cause much of a noise problem, great location, facilities for self catering are a little basic but we eat most evenings and the bar/ restaurant does a great breakfast at a reasonable price, gardens are well maintained and all the staff work so hard to keep everything neat and tidy, only a 5-10 minute stroll down to dolphin square where all the bars and restaurants are, beach is nice but could do with a bit of a clean up at end of the day, cigarette butts etc, but as pool was so lovely we tended to use it when having a lazy dayMore
