For a relaxing holiday centred around the beach, the Dolunay Apartments are tough to beat. The sands are just across the road, plus you're within walking distance of Altinkum. There's a pool, bar and patisserie on-site, too.
The Dolunay Apartments are in a great location – they’re right across the road from a sandy beach. Plus, they’re on the outskirts of Altinkum, so you can walk into the village in about ten minutes. Ephesus is also an easy daytrip – it’s about an hour’s drive away.
The apartments themselves are in two-storey buildings set in landscaped gardens. They come with basics like cooking rings and a fridge, and linen’s supplied, too. Some apartments even have sea-view balconies.
Outside, there’s a grand, rectangular pool with a children’s paddling area alongside it. There’s a snack bar out here, too, and even a patisserie.
On the subject of food, the hotel lays on a free bus to the Dolunay restaurant. It’s in Altinkum, and as a guest at the apartments you’ll get a discount. As for after-dinner entertainment, there’s a nightclub across the road from the apartments and an open-air disco about a two-minute walk away.
Enjoy breakfast in the mornings and light bites and snacks - such as crisps, ice-cream and drinks, all day long at the pool bar. Occasionally through the week there are themed evenings, where you'll be able to enjoy barbecue and local nights.
These simply furnished 1-bedroom apartments with a sea view make a good holiday base for up to three. They come with a twin bedroom and a sofa-bed in the lounge area. There's air-conditioning in the main bedroom at a charge, daily maid service and linen and towel changes twice a week.
These simply furnished 2-bedroom apartments make a good holiday base for up to five. They come with a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a single sofa-bed in the lounge area. There's daily maid service and linen and towel changes twice a week.
Stayed at this place from 10th August till 20th August nice and clean apartments very basic and can be noisy at night with the nightclubs. The bar area is clean and the food is good and reasonably priced. The staff are lovely Sam josh and yaya. Plenty of sunbeds didn't have to get up at 5am to get one. Would stop here againMore

Great place to stay but shame about the noise
Apartment was clean but very basic with just a fridge, kettle and 2 rings to cook on. Pool area lovely and the bar is nice as well and all the staff are very friendly and you are not hassled to buy drinks which is great. My sons often sat in the bar using the wifi without a drink and it was never a problem. Unfortunately the only real problem we had was the nightclubs nearby and when I say nearby I mean on your doorstep! I noticed some have said it didn't bother them but we felt like we was in one never ending rave as It went on until 5am and also in the afternoon. We spoke to James after the first night who told us there was nothing we could do about it and that we wouldn't notice it after a while...not helpful! we had to keep all the windows closed to have even have a slight chance of getting some sleep. It was a real shame as apart the noise everything was great. Also we booked all our trips at a little place near the apartment as Thomson charge a ridiculous amount of money for the excursions.More

2 weeks stay at Dolunay apartments in Early August 2015, all round excellent place. Sunbeds not a real problem as I would expect at the height of season. The rooms are very spacious as with the balcony too. The rooms could do with a little updating but also very adequate. The pool was clean and very warm, staff, food and service were excellent.More

We have had a lovely 2 weeks here, weather crackin, pool very good, staff excellent, Sam, Josh, Yahya & Farahat? X, apartments clean, pool side food good too... Good ratio of sun beds..
Good location for beach and shops..
Now the moans... If you arrive here in the middle of the night as we did, don't be alarmed by the 3 open air night clubs on the door step, all vying with each other to be the loudest, until 5am, it happens every night of the week, and you get used to it..
The pool is open to the public, but this caused us no issues..
Shame air con in only one bedroom, the second bedroom was small, with no hanging space.
Limited cooking facilities ( but didn't bother us)
Despite the moans, as already said, we had a great holiday...
Oh yes... Last but not least, big shout out for James the Thomson rep.... Destination Mexico...10/10 from us m8 xMore
