For a relaxing holiday centred around the beach, the Dolunay Apartments are tough to beat. The sands are just across the road, plus you're within walking distance of Altinkum. There's a pool, bar and patisserie on-site, too.
The Dolunay Apartments are in a great location – they’re right across the road from a sandy beach. Plus, they’re on the outskirts of Altinkum, so you can walk into the village in about ten minutes. Ephesus is also an easy daytrip – it’s about an hour’s drive away.
The apartments themselves are in two-storey buildings set in landscaped gardens. They come with basics like cooking rings and a fridge, and linen’s supplied, too. Some apartments even have sea-view balconies.
Outside, there’s a grand, rectangular pool with a children’s paddling area alongside it. There’s a snack bar out here, too, and even a patisserie.
On the subject of food, the hotel lays on a free bus to the Dolunay restaurant. It’s in Altinkum, and as a guest at the apartments you’ll get a discount. As for after-dinner entertainment, there’s a nightclub across the road from the apartments and an open-air disco about a two-minute walk away.
Enjoy breakfast in the mornings and light bites and snacks - such as crisps, ice-cream and drinks, all day long at the pool bar. Occasionally through the week there are themed evenings, where you'll be able to enjoy barbecue and local nights.
These simply furnished 2-bedroom apartments make a good holiday base for up to five. They come with a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a single sofa-bed in the lounge area. There's daily maid service and linen and towel changes twice a week.
These simply furnished 1-bedroom apartments with a partial sea view make a good holiday base for up to three. They come with a twin bedroom and a sofa-bed in the lounge area. There's air-conditioning in the main bedroom at a charge, daily maid service and linen and towel changes twice a week.
3 of us have just returned from our holiday at these lovely appts. We try and get in here every year as they are really good with very friendly staff and the views are fabulous. It is our 18th visit to this resort and we always try to book in here if we can. The nightclub opposite is quite noisy but the pros far outweigh the cons. Jash who runs the patisserie corner is so lovely, always a smile and he smells gorgeous as if he has just got out of the shower, no matter what time of day we see him. He is a definite asset to the complex as is the man who tends the gardens also really pleasant. We cannot get in here for next year as they are booked up already so we will have to look somewhere else unfortunatelyMore

My family & I stayed here for 1 week in August, lovely apartments. The staff inc Yaya & Sam were all fab, so so helpful. James the rep also was excellent. The pool area was spotless. Could not fault at all. After reading other people's comment re the nightclub, we didn't find it an issue & we were fairly close in room 4. Would definitely return here! My boys had a great time. Definite must is the Sunset at Mavisher, boat trip (we booked the siesta on the harbour, brilliant!) temple of Apollo & the Miletos amphitheatre! Look forward to returning. More

Wedding in Altinkum
We've just arrived home from two wonderful weeks at the Dolunay. From the first day we arrived Yahyah,Sammy and the girls could not of made us more welcome. We were there for our sons wedding during the second week so we were looking for a place for about 24 people. My wife and I had stayed here in Sept 2014 when we came to have a look at the wedding venue and we really liked it.The apartment's are kept very clean and have the basics, kettle fridge hot plate etc.To be honest we ate mostly at the bar during the day which has a full menu. There is noise from an open air disco across the road but with the the bedrooms being at the back of the apartment,it never kept us awake. The Dolunay has a fantastic pool which is cleaned every day and the gardens and the toddlers play area are all to a high standard. Its about a10 min walk from all the restaurants and the main beach, there is a smaller beach about 2mins away.Everyone of the wedding party said they would stay at the Donulay again.
Dolunay is amazing!! We've visted 2 years in a row, and we are going back next year as a group of 15! My parents are getting married and we are excited to spend 2weeks here as honeymoon. The food is amazing, the apartments are spotless, people complain about the noise but you just get used to it. The staff are incredible, you cannot fault them, they make your holiday ten times better!!More

Such a shame
Firstly I will start with the positives, all the staff are great, very friendly and helpful, the pool area is fabulous and always plenty of sun beds ( mid Sept ), location of hotel is ideal as regards to restaurants, bars, shops, beach etc. Rooms are spacious if a little dated, could perhaps benefit from a toaster and microwave, garden area well kept and tidy.
On the down side, and it is really the only negative, the noise from nightclub and bar across the road, unfortunately it is beyond acceptable, every night of our 10 night stay a constant thump, thump or loud instruments and singing from across the road. Several people closed theirs windows at night and switched air con on to try and drown out the din, if like us you don't like air con then ear plugs ( sold behind the bar ) are the only solution. Everyone I spoke to suffered with the noise and it's not only an hour or so it goes on until 4.30am or later, this hotel and staff in another location would be fantastic.......SUCH A SHAME !More
