A 4 star hotel with 10 star service

We had a week in middle of May before the main crowds of people for 65th birthdays/ We were very impressed by quality of service and attention to detail in every aspect of upkeep of Hotel surroundings, grounds, gardens, pools and rooms. Very good food in restaurants, particularly as we are vegetarians. Nothing was too much trouble for staff or management. Very family friendly hotel with kids clubs and evening entertainment.More

Anthony A,

Relaxing holiday in May before the crowds arrived

We spent a week at the Malia Park in early May - not too hot and not too crowded. We had a room in the main house which was fine - a huge double bed but the bathroom in need of an update but no complaints. As the hotel was pretty empty when we arrived it was very quiet and no queues at either breakfast or dinner-time. The hotel started to fill up during the week but the pool area/ beach remained pretty empty nevertheless. The breakfast buffet is very good, the dinner buffet was not always great, with us often having to wait for dishes to be refilled. The staff were excellent everywhere, really friendly and nothing too much trouble. The gardens are really beautiful and well looked after. I signed up for a massage which itself was very good but I found it a bit cold being massaged in a tent in the garden in early May. I like to sit and relax after a massage and maybe enjoy a cup of tea but there is no place for this. It would be much nicer if there were a proper spa in one of the buildings. WLAN was a bit of a hit or a miss in our room but otherwise worked well in the lobby/ pool and beach areas. On the whole we had a very enjoyable, relaxing week - would recommend!More

I had a revelation

I really wanted to spend my birthday in a beautiful, sunny location, that was me remember it with pleasure. I am not too optimistic person but what I found there was like a dream. In a beautiful landscape, with a warm and friendly staff, luxurious hotel and garden, I spent memorable moments! I do not want to forget a hotel surprise for my birthday, a cake with "Hapy birthday"! thank you very much!More

Good all-inclusive type hotel - if you like that sort of thing

This hotel is mainly visited by Germans in our experience. We also had ants in our room but apart from that the hotel is very smart and the staff are friendly. It would be good for reviews to be similar to Amazon "if you like that you'll love this"More

A great hotel resort with lots to offer

My husband and I spent 8 days at this lovely all-inclusive resort as part of a longer tour in Greece. We ended up staying 3 extra days due to a general strike which affected the ferry service to the islands. A wonderful place to spend unexpected time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size and clean. Lots of hot water with good pressure. We were on 'half board'. Choices at breakfast and dinner were excellent. Lots to keep you occupied if you're so inclined. Lots of places to just veg and watch the waves roll in. More
